If the school is open:
No special message will be given at this web site nor on the school answering machine.
If the school is closed:
There will be no classes.
On days when the weather is questionable, please listen to radio and television for important information regarding the starting time for Mt. Lebanon Montessori School and Academy. You may also visit www.thepittsburghchannel.com/index.html, www.kdka.com, www.wpxi.com for school closing/delay updates. A message will be posted on the school website and on the school answering machine. Please note that you must see Mt. Lebanon Montessori in the listing. We are a different listing from the Mt. Lebanon School District. You may experience a busy signal on the school telephone.
Our automated voice mail system will also be activated to call each family with any school delays or closings.
Please note that when there is a delay or closing, meetings and activities scheduled for that time period are cancelled.

Note
Please follow your school district’s bus schedule. If your school district has a one hour delay and we have a two hour delay, do not send your child to school on the bus. You will need to provide transportation.
Usually the decision to close or delay is made between 5:30 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. A change in that decision will be made only if the weather conditions worsen. Our first concern is the safety of our staff and families.
